S/V Spindrift

Sarah and I completed our first voyage on S/V Spindrift. Joining us for sections of the voyage our friends Richard & Jen Fisher. And joining us on the final leg was Michael Lusty. We started in Treguier France and finished in Lagos Portugal. Total miles sailed about 1,500. The boat performed as expected. She is a beast. Stable, strong and surprisingly good upwind for a centerboarder. S/V Spindrift took part in the LaRochelle Boat show and took second place for the best new boat in 2026 (France). She was also nominated for the European Yacht of the Year 2026. Right now our plans are to go back to the US and return in 2026 to sail her into the Mediterranean. Thanks to all the wonderful people at Boreal that made this dream come true.
