Sarah and I want to give a big shout out to Rui at orcas.pt. He runs a website that has been very valuable in our passage planning along the Atlantic coasts of France, Spain and Portugal. The orcas have been a menace to sailors damaging and sinking boats. We have been lucky. No interactions or sightings so far. However we did sail this past fall at the height of red tuna (bluefin) season which are the orcas main food source. Check out Rui’s website below.
